Wild Birds Unlimited Bird Walk
Lafayette Reservoir, Lafayette, CA
Leader: Chuck Groff
The weather was clear, sunny, and warm enough for T-shirts.
The usual large number of Cormorants and Coots were there,
but birds were generally in surprisingly short supply. We
managed to find 31 species, only about two-thirds of what we
expected. We saw few common species, only one sparrow,
one California Towhee, etc.
